The Crime Museum is an interesting and strange alternative to the plethora of art galleries and exhibitions in Budapest. The museum was founded in 1999, and it displays police uniforms, police badges and sundry other artifacts used by the Hungarian law enforcement forces. On top of that, the museum displays famous photos of various murder cases in Hungary, though is features nothing related to the renowned Whiskey Robber case.

The museum is also known as the Museum of the History of the Police. Admission is free of charge.
