Miksa Roth was the greatest stained glass artist of Hungary, and he made his way though in this field somewhere between the 19th and the 20th century. His work was, at the time, appreciated in the entire Europe, and repeatedly awarded and displayed at reputed at international exhibitions.

The Miksa Roth Memorial House is hosted by the very home where the artist and his family lived between 1910 and 1944. One of the most prized exhibits of this small museum refers to a stained glass work called Mary with the child Jesus, designed and created by Miksa Roth for a Marian church in Austria. Visitors can also see the furniture and sundry carpets and antiques which belonged to the artist and to his family.
